Cool UFOs (Fake though)

The only version of Y.M.C.A that could out Gay the original!

WTF? Can you guess how this was done, answers on a postcard (and yes I do know how it was done)

I just thought I’d pop in to write this little piece. It’s a poem I found somewhere, can’t remember where, but I think it has a very good message and certainly makes me think twice…

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,

“Oh excuse me please”, was my reply.

He Said, “Please excuse me too;

I wasn’t watching for you.”

We were very polite, this stranger and I.

We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told,

How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal,

My son stood beside me very still.

When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.

“Move out of the way”, I said with a frown.

He walked away, his little heart broken.

I didn’t realize how harshly I’d spoken.

While I lay awake in bed,

God’s still small voice came to me and said,

“Whilst dealing with a stranger,

common courtesy you use,

but the family you love you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor,

You’ll find some flowers there by the door.

Those are the flowers he brought for you,

He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.

He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,

you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.”

And now my tears began to fall.

I quietly went and knelt by his bed;

“Wake up little one, wake up”, I said.

“Are these the flowers you picked for me?”

He smiled, “I found them out by the tree.”

“I picked them because they’re pretty like you.

I knew you’d like them, especially the blue.”

I said “Son, I very sorry for the way I acted today;

I shouldn’t have yelled at you that way.”

He said, “Oh mum that’s ok.

I love you anyway.”

I said “Son, I love you too

and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.”

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we work for could easily replace us in a matter of days

But the family we left behind will feel the loss from the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed,

don’t you think?

So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?

Father And Mother I Love You

Oh dear, whilst Roy is having seizures about some of his in-laws, its time to calm things down a little with today’s updates and news slot.

I have managed to get some of the flood photos that were taken from another member of RBCSoftware, Mad Onion (Thank you).

These are now online in the photos section (Members Only).

Other news, we’ve had a good response from our competition, so we may start to do this on a monthly basis…wait a minute, if I remember correctly Roy said we would be doing that anyway!

Fair enough then…

I know it’s also very early, but as you may have noticed, I have put a snow script in. Mighty pretty don’t you think?

It is official, RBCSoftware will be staying open. After talks with Roy, I have decided to partially fund things until more sources of income can be found.

Roy would also personally like to thank HonkyTonkMan for his financial contribution to the site.

Other news, Roy will be returning back to the “norm” that is RBCSoftware, but its likely to be sometime in December when we see him back on here. Roy has decided to spend time away from the site, collate ideas and just generally take a break from everything due to recent stresses.

So until then, you ARE stuck with me…

As per Roy’s request, this is his news section for today, that he has asked me to include…

“Neighbours, managers, work colleagues, debt collection agencies…Yes I’m talking about morons. Don’t get me wrong, I know a lot of people don’t fall into this category. I am meaning the people who I have encountered as of the last 2 weeks.

Long story but cut short, I’m amazed how these “morons” have ever got through life, seriously these people should have had their breathing privileges revoked, well bit harsh and maybe not, but really, some of the crap I/we deal with day in, day out is unbelievable. I ain’t going to go into individual scenarios but geesh, get a grip people!”

Well, erm, thanks for that Roy, I’m sure you’ll make a lot of friends with that statement! LMAO

A new section has been added for all the members…

Competition time!

Roy wrote the scripts in his time at work today, and I have only just managed to upload them (sorry Roy).

But here you go, these competitions will be run monthly, with the exception of this one. As it has been started “mid-month” we are running this competition until the end of December.

Good luck…

RBCSoftware has encountered a number of “members” which have not been verified or have not been completed upon registration. These accounts have now been disabled pending investigation.

At this moment in time, as per Roy’s request I am “sweeping” the site for ‘junk’, such as Thumbs.db files that have uploaded in error. You may experience a ‘drop’ of images whilst visiting within the next couple of hours (as of 10.59pm GMT)

It is with great sadness that I should write this, but, at this moment in time it is uncertain as to what is to happen to RBCSoftware.

After talks with Roy, it has been discussed that, due to financial and personal difficulties the site may not be renewed.

The site will certainly be running up to the end of 2007 that is for sure.

I will keep updating as the information comes in, but for now, we will have to see what happens but continue on as usual.

Further Updates:

This image has received over 2,000 hits, but no emails. Come on guys what you waiting for?

Many people maybe already aware of Roy’s personal circumstances surrounding his unexpected (temporary) leave from the site, however, Roy has asked me to step in and continue to update (where possible) RBCSoftware in his absence.

I hope Roy and his family are all ok and wish them all best and we hope to see you soon.

I will try and keep things simple and again updates maybe far less frequent than Roy would have done due to my own personal work commitments. So I hope to see some new members, and hear from the old ones too.
