Well hello there…

Hello to everyone, and welcome to 2015.
I hope you all had a very happy Christmas and an even better new year.

For myself, it was busy but I enjoyed the festivities, and I must say I even managed not to get drunk at our new years eve party, which has got to be a first.

Over the last couple of months or so, I have been hard at work bringing the site upto speed with updates.
Over the Christmas period I had taken most “side” parts to the site offline. The blog being one, but also Chuckles n Such.
Having noticed a number of duplicated images, I shut the site down, removed all the images and have begun the time-consuming process of checking for duplicate images as well as preparing all the new images.
The site should hopefully be up and running again soon.

As for my personal health update, over the xmas season I had unfortunately managed to get the dreaded “lurg”.
A sickness bug is currently working its way around and sadly, it has affected my eldest child Caitlin and my youngest Jack and it would seem it was my turn shortly after. I felt so ill, headaches, hot and cold shivers, painful sinuses and bodily aches adding up to quite a miserable time.
Still, I’m on the mend and my only problem is now, is trying to stay awake!
I’m not sure if it’s the medication I’m on or just that the “staying at home” is becoming so tedious and “samey” it’s sending me into an endless spiral of tiredness.

Anyway, as I say I hope you all had a good Christmas time and I hope 2015 will bring you all you deserve and want.

All the best…

~ Roy

Hi All,

Long time no see…
Well, truth is, I’ve been a little self absorbed.
Ultimately trying to sort my head out.

Those who know me will know that from time to time I go through phases where I pretty much think “Screw it all!”.

Over these last few months, it has been one of those times and even now I’m having trouble focusing on things I really should be.

This blog is the only place where I feel I can speak openly and freely without ridicule or judgment.
At the moment, I’m just concentrating on being me, rather than trying to please people all the time.

I’m not very good and speaking in the fullest abouts my feelings etc, but a little part of my emotions comes out one in a while in posts etc.
Nobody likes to read the rantings of a moaner I guess, and thats probably why everyone tends to see me as “fun loving” Roy which sometimes is a strain in itself.

Anywhoo, this is the way I deal with things, so thats that off my chest ūüôā

I must really get my arse into gear an work on the site lol

Regards

Roy

Long time, no speaky & no writey

Well, I’ve been working on a new project. This time it is in relation to Defiance, Barnsley’s number one Hard Dance event.

Basically, I offered my services as there was an issue with the original site, and I offered to help, sort of my contribution to the scene.

The link is: http://www.rbcsoftware.me.uk/defiance247

Initially, the site is up and running as before, with some new features in there. New stuff will be added gradually as I liaise with the Owner and Promoter of Defiance Shane, AKA MC Genius.

That is about that really. I’ve spent so much time editing images, rewritting CSS scripts etc, that I have hardly had anytime to update much else.

Other than that, is everyone ready for Christmas?

I’m almost ready! Sick of spending money though!!!

Still, to see my daughter’s face when she opens her presents on Christmas Day will make it all worth while.

More soon, but for now…tat ta

RBCSoftware will be 4 soon!

Yup, thats right. 4 years in the making.

Regular visitors will have seen the site develop from the earlier versions of RBCSoftware before I implemented Wordpress.

How the site has grown!

I know I say it everytime, but (yet) again, I would like to thank everyone (past and present) who has ever been a part of RBCSoftware.

Right now, I’m preparing to go back to work tomorrow. Its seems the longer you stay away from the place, the more I WANT to be away from the place.

Still, I’ll keep trucking on, as they say.

There are a few new additions to RBCSoftware too, firstly Cadava (aka Chris) has joined and is currently building his very own blog, and to say I only installed it for him about 2 days ago, and had a brief session going through the basics of using WordPress blogs, its come on leaps and bounds.

Have a butchers cadava.rbcsoftware.me.uk.

Also, a big hello and welcome to my Uncle Geoff, who has also joined the members list.

Thats all for now folkes, as I’m having one last brew, then I’m off to bed. Need sleep.

Since my holidays started, I’ve been going to bed on average, around 3am…not good.

Once again,

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY RBCSOFTWARE!

A Simple prayer

Somebody grant me the serenity to accept things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I cannot accept,
the wisdom to hide the bodies of  the people who insisted in pissing me off today.

Also lord, guide me not to stand of the toes of those today who I may have to kiss the ass of tomorrow.

Remember, when your having a really bad day, and it seems like everyone is out to get on your nerves, it takes 42 muscles to frown.

But only 4 to flip the bird!

I’ve got headache!

I’m plodding on like a little trooper, I’ve got headache, I’m tired and I need a vacation!

Anyway, I have now opened a Support forum (http://www.rbcsoftware.me.uk/support).

This is largly due to the overwhelming requests I get from people asking for help.
In there, there are topics for software, hardware, website and even mobile phone sections if your having problems.

I don’t claim to know everything, but rest assured, if I don’t know, I’ll know someone who will.
In order to use this free service, you will have to register on the forum itself.

Just thought I’d let everyone know…

P.S: If your interested in becoming a helper on this support forum, please email me: webmaster@rbcsoftware.me.uk
